Among the activities of strategic support that CHARTA offers to the companies there are those related to the Institutional Relationships, Market Access and activities of Legal Advice on Procurements.

Creating Market Access strategies is one of the activities that CHARTA has performed for years A valid and well-designed MA strategy is by now an obvious critical successful factor for new technologies, in particular for specialized products and medical devices, in order to make them actually and promptly available for patients that can benefit from them as well as represent a desirable aim for companies that have developed them. The realization of a Market Access plan is not limited to the authorization phase and the following management of prices and reimbursements at central level, but often finds origin already in the phases of design of the clinical Research to continue in the period of marketing with real life studies and database analysis.

The necessary competence for design, development and implementation of the Market Access activities require first of all an important activity on institutional

Affairs, substantialized by the interaction with the interlocutors of healthcare (decision-makers and actuators of healthcare policies) depending on the competence (and evidence) of HTA, Pharmacoeconomics, Outcome Research, P&R developed in an integrated way between them.

The discipline of public procurements is very complex, sometimes contradictory and ever evolving. This often entails increasing difficulties for the Tenders Offices of the Companies in interpreting the standards and rules set by the specifications and conditions of tender for which it is necessary to have a valid consultancy structure supporting the companies during the phases of the tendering process.
The consultancy proposed by CHARTA is, during these phases, not only the provision of a valid legal support to resolve doubts and controversies but also of an assessment, from an economic and opportunity point of view, of the most suitable actions to undertake for the protection of the corporate interests.

To this day, the service of Institutional Monitoring is articulated in the monitoring of topics concerning the pharmaceutical regulatory world in Italy and Europe;

parliamentary activities concerning health, drug; specific national and international areas of interest for the company.

Some examples:

Communications from Aifa;

Publications in Official Gazette of the Italian Republic: determinations and communications on drugs for human use, drugs for veterinary use and pharmaceutical governance;

Communications from Ministry of Health, Superior Institute of Health, EMA, EFPIA, European Commission

Parliamentary activities of Deputies and Senate;

Press Review for specific topics requested by the company.

The Mapping Stakeholders service is conversely articulated in two phases:

Definition clinical area of interest;

Definition research (national or regional)
